CAM is an association of several churches throughout the city to assist people with food, clothing, hygiene, etc. Throughout the year we collect non-perishable food, clothing and hygiene items and hold special drives for CAM.
Rise Recovery has been a part of our ministry for many years. They are a ministry that helps youth recover from and stay off drugs. They work with the whole family and it is completely free. Located in the blue portable building.
This began as a community garden tended by refugees mainly and continues to work with refugees. If you are interested in a plot or volunteering in the garden please contact Jennifer Alaniz at the church office.
We host Catholic Charites as they teach English to Refugees resettled in our area. If you are interested in classes or volunteering please contact Catholic Charities at 210-222-1294.
AA has also been a part of our ministry for many years. They meet in the Rise Recovery building Saturday-Monday and Tuesday-Thursday and on Friday they meet in the main church building. All meetings are at 8:00 pm.
This is a support group for weight loss and they meet at 9:00 am on Tuesdays.

The German-Texan Heritage Society offers German Language Classes at our church. If interested in learning German there are classes for adults and children. Check out their website for sessions and fees.
Bunco is a fast moving game that requires no skill, just fun. Bunco is played once a month on the 3rd Friday at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall.
Due to COVID, office hours vary. Please call before coming over, to ensure that the pastor or administrative assistant will be there. The church office is in Luther House (across parking lot from sanctuary).
